The key to great leadership is managing the emotional environment of the organisation by working with and through people, empowering and leading rather than directing.
Leaders recognise the importance of a focused team spirit within our workforce. We are aware of how our leadership style impacts upon emotional states. 


As leaders we are able to regulate our behaviour and actions to build and enhance performance by managing our own emotions, or do the opposite if we do not manage boldly our own emotions…. 


Emotionally intelligent leaders foster a positive emotional environment where people can flourish and thrive and by dealing with issues that arise firmly and fairly. As epigenetics demonstrate, we are our environment, the environment we live in.
